As an approved contractor to the SIA, Adsec ensure all new employees have a valid SIA License in the first step of our recruitment process. All new staff are screened to the BS7858 standard prior to commencement of employment, and all officers are enroled on an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service. 
 
Adsec take great care to ensure that the staff we employ pass our induction training and tests to a high standard. All successful candidates are employed and are fully trained. We understand that only motivated and well trained operatives can deliver a first class service. 
 
Training includes: 
Adsec 1 Day Induction 
Health and Safety in the Workplace 
Manual Handling 
Counter Terrorism (Operation Fairway, Project Griffin) 
Fire Evacuation 
Customer Service (NVQ Level 2) 
Report Writing 
On-site Familiarisation 
Scenario Testing/Post Assessment 
Refresher Training/Testing 
At commencement each officer spends a day completing our induction and test, if an officer is unable to obtain satisfactory scores and standards, staff will not pass their probation. This is followed by a minimum of one shift of on-site training to ensure the security officer has full understanding of the site specific Assignment Instructions, well acquainted with their surroundings and knows the duties on site. The SIA auditors commended our induction and exam procedure through our external audit. 
 
All officers make regular check calls to our automated system and are supervised by area patrollers who carry out covert and overt visits regularly.
